My work is an abstract aesthetic language for some challenging personal experiences; and by extension enquires into the sensory body and human experience. I explore these experiences through expanding upon the formal qualities of painting such as light, space, and surface. Attempting to engage the body and the subjective experience as object. My process utilises perceptual phenomenology, illusion, and shimmering materiality, making connections to broader discourses on reality and subjectivity.
