Drawing on personal histories of lived places, my work focuses on the act of recollection as a creative process in which stored fragments of information are used to support the construction of new landscapes.
By navigating constructed virtual landscapes, I re-engage with remembered architecture. Using digital tools to mirror the way memory distorts and rearranges that which is recollected.
The act of painting serves as an extension of these digital reconstructions, allowing me to restore and invent aspects lost in the translation from memory to digital space.
